A Taste Of Norway

After a 35-year career as a chef, I came back to my childhood home to turn the family farm land into a place for traditional Norwegian cooking.

Tove’s Tradisjonsmat opened its doors in 1994 and now I sell a variety of handmade food products and flowers alongside crafts and food items from local producers.

The Farm shop sells a variety of food products, including Lefse, a traditional, Norwegian flatbread that is adored throughout the country.

Values

The aim of Tove’s Tradisjonsmat is to share traditional Norwegian cuisine. For me, food is about identity and experience.

As there is a lot of history in Norwegian cooking, the cafe & farm keep the traditions alive but also tries to meet the expectations of a modern world.

To do this, I have a set of values that help push the business into a successful future.
